  2. i think the tw35 was rated at 170hp, but it would be capable of a lot more than that as i have seen tw25's making that figure
  3. i keep telling the wife at £30k that would be a good investment but shes not having it
  4. a genuine one would be £60k+ i would think
  5. County 1884 on eBay (end time 30-Nov-09 15:32:19 GMT) 1884 anyone want to collectively buy an arbtalk tractor
  6. Happy birthday mate, Nice kuksa! i seem to remember that you have to sit outside and have a strong spirit in it for its first use, whilst looking at the northern lights ( I understand this part could be tricky in Suffolk!)
  7. I was up near Flash yesterday it wasnt nice weather to be out and about it, it was sleety rain coming down in the afternoon,
  8. mine took the hump we me shooting all day and not working on the bathroom, so i paniced when i got a text saying she was working on the walls, got home to find she has taken a power sander to the wrong bits of wall, and managed to coat everything with a fine coating of dust as she hadnt put dust sheets over things Women - Know your limits!
  9. national garden center chains are giving away free trees as part of the BBC world record attempt for most trees planted in an hour, so i picked up my free hazel today, and if i go every day between now and next saturday i will be well on the way to my new front hedge!
  10. i have a small thermos and its great, trick is to take milk seperatly or not at all! as it will stay a lot warmer longer, or buy a jetboil!
  11. http://www.stihl.com/vib/english/documents/GB_MS.pdf stihls published vib figures including the 200T I think its probably best not knowing the vibes from the 084
  12. just had a quick look and there arent any in the 084 manual, dont you have to have the saws independantly tested as the published HAVS figures are for new saws on low vib chains,

    forks

horse bedding fork like these are pretty handy
  14. sent you guys a PM, if you need one quickly or only occasionally, John at Uttoxeter GM has a 5" hire one, think its about £80/day or Natural England have a TW35/150 at Bakewell, which last time i was offered it was £8/hr
  15. The smaller stump in pic2 onwards in post 10, is that bat habitat creation? or for inverts, as it would strike me as being a little bit too low for bats
  16. good saws the silkys but keep your fingers well clear!
  17. yep and relisted straight away again
  18. the foragers on willow are in small and descrete ways modified, i have a mate who is aftersales for New holland, previously being a field technical specialist, and had quite a bit to do with the biomass foragers, i think in many cases the hydrulic pumps are upgraded to heavier duty units than fitted to the standard machine I think the best one i have seen is Copppice resource limiteds forager with the huge two circular saws on big hydro motors out front, that was a scarey bit of kit
  19. here is another video of it in use on a wider range of materials, showing it in bigger material, [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLXbko-8qWg]YouTube - Anderson Group BioBaler WB 55[/ame] and a promo video [ame] [/ame]
  20. ask your dealer as i have the big spikes on my 372
  21. ms180??? white handles pro Orange handles occassional user Black handles, home owner
  22. must admit i prefer the older choke style, although at least the off switch works in the right direction on a husky
  23. i have a 346 and occasionally use a 260, but only when my saw isnt about. I prefer how the 346 feels when holding it, i cant get on with any of the smaller stihls, much prefering the huskys. Also i find the 346 a much more aggressive saw, it seems to pick up quicker and seems much quicker in the wood, but the 260 is nice for logging with as it is very smooth on the anti vibe. I think it depends very much on what feels comfortable, as if your using it for several hours a day you dont want something that isnt right to you personally.
