  1. so are you saying that saturn knives are better than genuin blades Has there not been hse reported cases of blade problem failures from non genuin blades IMO GENUINE blades are what i would fit the blades are deigned around the machine and the machine designed aroud the blades I did not cast any aspertions what i said was I would only fit genuin blades i never mentioned saturn or any manufacturer:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

  3. like a sad lad i actually read a 357xp manual and you it states in the manual steel toe cap chainsaw boots so how ever composite boots started i will never know p.s i still wear mine

  11. i would only buy genuine why spend all that money on a chipper to save a couple of quid on the most important part
  12. i think between 12 and 18 months ago they stopped approving anyone
  13. i would suggest you contact the council who will tell you there is no longer an approved list and they now do only send out the details of guidance on how to choose a tree contractor that is if its the council starting with K

    i did the same type of thing a couple of years ago and decided not to risk bits of wood flying and hitting the new house but the ground was soft so mud and chunks of turf splattered the new house and windows had to fetch 2 hosepipes scrubbing brushes and get the window cleaner back that had only cleaned them 2 hrs ago sod it was the word od that day
  15. i have the dunsley yorkshire with backboiler which only runs the central heating and a mains 7 for the hot water although we use little hot water out of the tap as we get most from the kettles on top and we often cook on it as well have only had it 6 months but love it to bits i am local to you pentcotools if you wanted to discuss as i looked into the pros and cons of linking everything and all the options
  16. i have always enjoyed and turned to gear reviews and would love to be a reviewer as i love gear new techniques are also interesting a day in the life of different disiplines of the arb world pros and cons of different equipment ie ropes, knots ect top tips section
  17. 4 days seems a hard one to grasp was a tracked mewp not considered or was the budget spent on nice lunches only examples of that kind of work round my way could be attributed to PMT

    i am a third of that with good kit and very qualified both men do you need any subbies at those rates i can find you at least 200:wave::wave::wave:
  20. the rope you sell should be sold with the batch and seriel no and should really be on the rope but that is the users prob as long as you give them the details

  23. several times impounded once wrong number plate on trailor once lights out most times and overloaded once even though vehicle empty dont put hiabs on 7.5tonners as often overload front axle we had to get shut of ours and upgrade to a 17tonner which is impossible to overload IMO tree surgeons are the worst offenders at overloading

    timber hitch all the way and if pulling with a vehicle use your portawrap with a short sling or rope to towball much easier to undo and less damage to rope
