  3. there is no formal certified training that i am aware of you should have cs41 if dissmantleing with a crane and a appointed person and a slinger signaler on site
  4. will put a 372 or 395 all our chains were too new to trash but when they wear down a bit have another 2 to destroy

  10. after seeing that vid of lavaros we cut one up at work 2 cuts in toecap one just behind one down the one up the back and through the sole with a ms200t and always cut through never clogged up did not even blunt the saw opened our eyes to say the least

  12. it may be like that down south but its certainly not like that here only had 1 wet day in depot in 16 months too much work on though i do admit we avoid climbing if its really bad but last couple of days are not in that catagory P.s we had to have a drying room installed thats how bad it gets :thumbsdown:

  18. will try thats what is delaying us i just dont buy it either have you tried cutting your rope with a silky get an old bit and put it into your system and hang from it 6 inch from floor and with the last inch of your silky it will cut through it it really opens your eyes
  19. we replaced all our aquafells with experts and was very disapointed to be honest 6 men with experts not very happy 3 with hiax not bothered 1 with meindels very happy would love to cut my experts but there only 2 months old

  21. my old boss cut straight through his chainsaw trousers into his leg the saw never got clogged up we carried on using it without any kevlar being removed at work we have a pile of kit for cutting will try to find time to do it and will record findings for you all so far we have on our cut list hiax aquafell elten terrain new england metal strop yale metal strop hi flex x2 kneeflex stretch airs 2 harnesses to fasten saws to and pull on bars to see what gives first either mountings bar or harness have been going to do this since mid dec so dont hold your breath but will sort by feb

    harness looked like an old barow hatburn or bt pole strap no leg loops obviosly had done a fair bit before which is more worrying than a new nupet
  23. you must be looking at different photos to me
  24. i generaly work on between 25 and 50p per tree dependant on conditions and quantity just planting and guards are dependant on type and species
