  3. do not see why the local authority would be to blame for private trees do not see why the contractor is to blame must be the tree owner but i do think the contractor should of covered his arse and explained the consequences to the property owner and the ones he has topped it may have been 4 different contractors then theres problems but as you say probably one

  6. sorry about thephotos tried turning them but arbtalk would not accept them then we were on site within 40 mins of happening climbed lowered chipped 20 mins it was a private tree so all we did was remove the snapped limb we are struggling with the chestnuts since christmas have done 12

    nice one was that grcs or portawrap you seem to tie your half hitch a long way above your gob which puts more slack and shock into the rope than i do thats not criticism just a point nice choice of saws

  12. not sure if you will make out the skid marks just before we got there an oldish lady had crashed into this as you can see it was on a straight uphill and her skid was 15 ft long her opening statement was good job i was going slow

    we have an old washing machine and we have a rope scrubber cleaner thingy ours is a coiled shape and works really well idealy even on anti vandal paint you hang them just below outside tap and then with a bit of water on just pull rope through ropes can be very bad for washing machines as they are very heavy and end up in one side and it throws it out of balance wife blamed me for killing ours

  21. where have you got this re doing every 5 years total ollocks h&s recomend an update every 5 years but that can take many forms most of stuff on that list is same for all my 8 colleages
  22. we have some only protected at the bottom ours came from charterhouse richmond about 5 years ago no good for fishing bright orange
