  5. everyone i know has a weak link on flip line usually a 20 or 30 cm sling basketed in this way 3 way cras are spot on imo for this yes you can use mallions but the must be done up with a spanner
  6. whats annoying is normal days im on about double we have a low basic which is then sorted with a good gauranteed bonus but as i only work part time i dont get bonus or time and a half or double i just get plain time normaly all my overtime goes as time off in lieu but am not supposed to work lieu time after midnight so it got booked as undertime instead

  17. we use powered ones mainly and are about to get a new one spot on for reducing cherries and trees affecting pedestrians and cars

    mines quite new not out of the arc so probably no good for him have a couple of old saws with no vib mounts he could be interested in

    when they port them them guzzle fuel, too noisy and how about ppe requirments not to mention chain and saw stress

    just had to do a storm call with all my stuff we have 3 chippers at work 1 stolen 1 still waiting for gearbox now 4 weeks 1 in for service and 17tonner in for mot and depot that secured for the weekend would take 30 mins to get in

    ours was chained down sas wheel clamp bullet lock on drawbar but as they put it in back of van no point in that
