  3. the big problem with those palfinger cranes is getting logs off all the sensors allow you to lift towards the body centre so you can lift nearly anything within reason onto the back of the wagon but then struggle to actually unload them and the slew is pretty pants if slightly uphill but all hiabs are i suppose does yours have the OLS button for the extra 10% for 30 seconds

  11. that is not the optimum angle to get the gob to close as it will extra force on the tree and increase the twang factor

  14. i would of thought tennex and yalex would have pluckes and easily damaged if running against a tree or tree trunk and if tieing knots at the first half hitch i would imagine there would be a build up of heat causing damage to the rope although strength to diameter would be a plus point

  20. looks like you could of done that in boots with a few strategicaly placed logs or stones. We would of either worn chainsaw wellies and type C trousers or chainsaw waders with type C trousers better to be warm and have protection if the water is deep enough for waders it tends to be pretty cold anyhow

    i did they agreed to dissagree so i dissagreed to agree and removed my name from the list i now only do it when no one else can and just have time back the reason my pay was so bad was i can not get time and half till i have done 37hrs and dont get any bonus either that was my point other lads got more though still not enough and to be honest time off is better for me than money
