  4. as a point the kask only meets en 397 and when the new regs come in it will not meet the required standard as a climbing helmet
  5. click the chat box at the top of the page middleish
  6. they only work on husky or oregon chain not stihl just as a point and yes i do like them
  7. one of my claims to fame is that i have been knocked down and crushed by a helicopter I used to do a lot of work for national trust doing moorland restorations and we used to fly all fencing and bales of heather out to site. 1 of us flew with the pilot to tell him where to drop stuff and the other had to hook up directly onto the copter belly to keep everything short and if you can imagine 20 bales stacked up and getting between them and the skids the capter did not have much leway and got crushed several times but was great fun and the pilots used to give us proper flights back from the drop zone to see how scared they could get us:scared1:

  14. my father has a cat scarer that just plugs in and sends out high pitch signal that affects them and not us A few years ago we had to heavily thin trees in piazza in town as birds were roosting and defecicating on all the shoppers so maybe thin all the conifers could be an interesting project

  17. you can borrow mine if you want a go took about 6 months to learn trailing up to lakes very weather dependent you will go all day sit on the hill and it,s not quite right but fantastic when it does work out have been to cyprus as well and we were flying over a beautifull beach and the views were outstanding have had a few accidents though it is dangerouse but worse is very time consuming to even fly a bit and you need to be able to drop everything to go

    splicing tips

another one i found usefull after putting the alpine butterfly in just in front of it tie a simple overhand knot and when milking the splice at the end undo the overhand knot and this stops any sheath getting lost at the butterfly
