Hello.. I need a cylinder and piston for a US spec MS460, are these the same as the UK version ?? And where would be the best place to buy ?? Or has anyone got some spares they want to sell - Don't have to be mint but usable?? Thanks for looking

I would have said circular - but I haven't used a chainsaw version, and I agree it is important what you are cutting ie. contamination -

What Hollands said - If he is prepared to behave like that over £75 then he must have some issues....Just make it clear that your life is too important to waste time on people like him. I agree with Shrek in principle but some people revel in this particular kind of dispute. You never know Mark you may get a call from someone like him who needs your help - in which case he can pay the difference for their petty attitudes.

Nice!! We should be allowed to cover ourselves for unpredictability (Or F.ups) as it won't be the customer who is out of pocket due to circumstances unforeseen! I don't think they would be prepared to pay for full aerial visual inspections before each and every job.

I have found that as I am learning - early on it was easy to be put off from just looking at things from the ground.. Can you put a give or take factor on the price? Ie. allow for the worst case scenario so you have some sort of cover in case things work out harder than they look? The times they are easier is a bonus and when it is harder you are covered. As mentioned cashflow is the key - ie. better to have lots of jobs with less profit than few jobs with bigger profit. Any days when your equipment is not working is a loss
