Why are you going back to arbormater? its not a backward step. I liked my blaze just it was a bit small in my hands. I'd say XTC and Arbormaster are in the same bag, I'd rate samson higher as it doesn't milk Jamie

  16. Different harness but i'll explain my set up. Butterfly2. I run two lines both off of my bridge, i have my climbing line at 45m and a shorter line at 8m. i normally use these. i'f i'm removing a tree i also carry a pole strop. i've found in some sections a 3rd anchor can be invaluable. Tim what positions are you getting into where cutting your bridge is seriously an option? Jamie
  17. no pranks from anyone today. i did get wet today. Jamie
  18. Oi, Watch it!!!! I may be a lover but i can easily change (into a fighter:cussing:). Jamie
  19. you give good prizes Lee, That grafting book is still read, it sits alongside Gerrys fundamentals of General treework and Shigo Jamie
  20. you can sharpen the sugoi the rest i think are 'disposable' but i'm sure you knew that. Jamie
  21. Harness, Climbing Line and split tails / prussic loops 4 3 way carabiners cambium saver most are about a meter lng i think AND retrieval ball pole strop, i like a 5 meter one but 3 meters is less hassle in smaller trees throwline and bag, a couple of simple snap lock carbiners for clipping stuff to you. spikes are a good idea as well. i'm in mine most aerial days you don't need the pully etc until you are a bit more experienced KISS (keep it simple, stupid) oh and you are looking at about £500 quid for all that Jamie
  22. whats teh blue polyprop doing? Jamie

And felling about a foot and a bit too high. Get low and make a proper stump not a seat. I love it when our 090 comes out. the 3120 is nice just doesn't sound as good when boring. Jamie
  25. Deb, I got into running just before we started dating. She is the more competitive runner. I run for the enjoyment and the hills she goes for times and self improvement. thats off topic however. the North West of Scotland is nice. I'd say take a car however. problem is that you not get good weather, plus point is that the midges ain't out yet Jamie
