  1. What would you do when you become IRATA qualified. i'm not sure what skills are required. I thought about it then i figured i can't weld, i can burn stuff with bottles but its not really a skill is it Jamie
  2. oh and i want a central rear chainsaw loop. i made one out of 3 mallions and length of beeline. Jamie
  3. sit back into your harness and walk backwards. i normally sit at about a 45 degree angle and reach for what i can. its all about balance. Jamie
  4. we were looking at that kinda thing but on a 20t 360. on a large site clearance why climb when a bit cutty engine will do it. especially in winter Jamie

    I've not spliced for a while, must be about 3 days, i was trying to figure out a short taper and braid retention, i got it in teh end though. Jamie

    when i worked in the catering industry i was on weird shifts and i couldn't sleep, now its not a problem, i keep active and i'm out like a light. my last splicing problem kept me up till i figured it out. Jamie

  17. I can't see how long gaffs will hurt your knees, but i'm not you. I'm on spikes most days when i'm climbing. I don't do many prunes. I wear Kliens a with the top just short of my knee, like everyone has said. The straps go as tight as possible. i can't see how a different brand will stop you hurting your instep / heel unless you have some ful length plate which would stop you using your feet properly.
