  1. Inset days r teacher training and all teachers r at school but kids r not.

  3. Fair play to them, me mums a nurse frozen pay for 2 years, trying to change pension and quite often than not the only qualified on the ward due to cuts, yet they get bank staff in through an agency who charges a fortune Why shouldn't they strike good luck to them thats what i say.
  4. I would agree if the turned wood is dry and in various blanks, just like your firewood is dry and split. Not just cut down a tree and do sod all to it then it becomes a pile of wood and worth even less. Hope thats abit clearer

  7. I would of thought it would have been bigger, i waited 25min for a hotdog. It's was £5.50 for a double hotdog of various kinds, there was pizza too. mine was tasty tho but £5.50
  8. Les on the oregon stand has some, but wasn't looking for them so didn't notice anywhere else. Some good bargins to be had come back £200 lighter but forgot to buy my grunfords wildlife axe .

  14. Top job mate, did you use sprit stain on the blue box as i'm awaiting the sample pots that chestnut do as a tester.
  15. Cellulose sanding sealer works well, spray then sand and spray again. Then use a acrilic laquer on top. I've only used this combo indoors so don't know what it is like outdoors.

  18. Might be the actual one as i done 4 or 5 out of one bit of wood
  19. woodwax 22, spread all over with fingers wait about a min then turn on lathe and buff with a polishing cloth. A nice deep shine allow 15mins between coats.
  20. I'm loving holm oak at the moment very nice to work with, keeping me eye out for more.
