  9. If you go Classic Hand Tools Limited - Flexcut Carving Knives These are the ones i use imo i find them better than the frosts ones, All i do is draw a spoon shape on a bit of wood and start carving. It takes alot of patients have fun:001_smile:

  12. I've had mine done through domestic and general FOC, Cavity wall and 12" of loft insalation. They also posted me about 10 free energy saving bulbs and if on a low income they help with a new boiler too. I've saved about £30-£40 per mth and didnt use heating at all last winter.

  14. Done a days work for a few joints of beef and a couple legs of lamb.
  15. Broke a cupple of ribs play fighting with my brother, Mine took a while to heal (2-3mths) what made mine worse at the time is i had hayfever and it was a killer when i had sneezing fits.
  16. Cool i best find me some gonks then:001_smile:
  17. The chisels you have are mainly used for spindle work eg mushrooms, goblets. The deep fluted ones are stronger and less vibration and are better for bowls. The finger nail bowl gauge has the bevel ground at a different angle so it doesn't catch. The wider of the gauges you have are for roughing out only on outside not taking inners out.
  18. If you put it in a bag with damp shavings and leave for a while that should help dry it out slower, I turned a goblet green and left it over night in morning it was split:sad: Sealing it with bees wax might help too. Microwave helps to but thats not easy.
  19. Nick they look cool for first attempt, it is turned green??? Dean did you get a bowl gauge (finger nail) ???
  20. Is it grind out stump too:scared1: What a mess that would make.
  21. Sorry to here it mate I thought ebay doesnt release funds until you give good feedback (once you recieved item)
