  1. I prefer to think of it as some kind of weird, black mass sponsored by the practitioners themselves.
  2. Palantir deals with mega UK health service top £60M • The Register WWW.THEREGISTER.COM Latest £24.9M 'transition' contract an attempt to bridge gap to contract UK.gov is due to award in September
  3. I looked into 'Northern Lights', I bet you're giggling away in your Tesla . What do you need to be qualified in in order to really cash it in on offshore work? I met an 22 year old Norwegian valve specialist when I was in Thailand with my lass in 2002 and he was drawing a fair sum for a 4/3 or similar rota.
  4. "Everything changes but it all stays the same" used to be the tune, now they've been blatantly shown to be even worse by mocking us all; I had to watch a webcast of my mate's Dad's funeral and couldn't be there to support her while those scuzzbuckets were just getting hammered and telling us what to do. Absolute shitehawks they are. **************** those people and **************** Starmer and his Blair lookalike party too. I hope you have a good weekend.
  5. Not today but relevant. Boris Johnson 'joked he was at most unsocially distanced party in UK' during No 10 lockdown party NEWS.SKY.COM The former prime minister is facing an investigation into whether he misled MPs when he told the Commons he believed he... @Johnsond you're right, they were mugging us off at the time.
  6. I know that one all too well. It can be the case that there's a reason why depression hits harder when things are seemingly going well. Have you thought about finding a therapist to talk with, you may have to try a couple before you find one that works or you might get lucky first time. You'll have to go private as waiting lists are joke for NHS treatment. Keep going though, there's always light at the end of the tunnel no matter how long and dark it may seem. Get in touch anytime you like mate.
  7. I'm not a fan of the methods of just stop oil mob, extinction rebellion were doing alright until they started preventing people going about their day to day business, I think that they would be more effective in their mission if they were a bit more discreet, I actually, and this is moonbat territory, think that many of their news making exploits may have been contrived in order to garner public appeal for the Draconian laws they're introducing. It stands to reason that you'd support anything that prevented you from making a living in the fossil fuel sector, everyone wants to protect their revenue stream. Irrespective of that, passing laws that essentially ban protest by anybody if the police decide they might cause ructions is to my mind a worrying precedent.
  8. 'Shameful' Labour peers abstain from key vote on 'draconian' anti-protest laws WWW.THENATIONAL.SCOT LABOUR peers in the House of Lords refused to back a motion to end the Government’s “draconian” anti-protest laws. It seems Labour really are blue these days. Kiss your right to protest goodbye.
  9. If I was running a contracting business I would be looking to utilise Auto GPT to undertake my admin based tasks. Auto-GPT May Be The Strong AI Tool That Surpasses ChatGPT WWW.FORBES.COM Auto-GPT is a breakthrough technology that creates its own prompts and enables large language models to perform complex multi-step procedures. While it has potential benefits...
  10. Home - Pl@ntNet PLANTNET.ORG With the Pl@ntNet app, identify one plant from a picture, and be part of a citizen science project on plant biodiversity
  11. @Mark Bolam You could download 'ublock origin' and 'F.B.purity' for your web browser of choice. I don't remember the last time I saw an unsolicited advert on a website.
  12. Either get a consultant in to undertake a detailed inspection on the basis of your observations, or recommend fell and replant If you are unsure and they don't have the funds. If they decide to keep it in its current form then it's on them.
  13. I went along with 'the rules' as I was led to believe it the best course of action in a time of significant uncertainty. I worked throughout the lockdown. I love the way you'll bark at anyone who enabled the shit storm that was the management of the pandemic, but you're incapable of blaming Boris and his lackeys directly.
  14. Yup, but Scottish politicians play an influential role in your life, seeing as you live in Scotland. There's plenty of people in England who do actually want Boris and his pals strung up for the 'petty COVID bollocks'.
  15. Air Force AI drone 'killed operator in simulation' • The Register WWW.THEREGISTER.COM Did ML-powered fighter actually go HAL 9000 to rack up points? Who knows
  16. Who wants to live forever? AI Unlocks Custom-Tailored DNA Sequences - Neuroscience News NEUROSCIENCENEWS.COM Utilizing machine learning, the team identified “synthetic extreme” DNA sequences that play specific roles in gene activation.

  18. It looks like your poster-boy thinks differently to you in terms of voter ID:
  19. It's because I think you're a bit of a babe.
  20. I think you're like a beta version of Ghat GPT where you regurgitate soundbites while blissfully unaware of the external real world. Best of luck kiddo.
  21. Do you think that Labour is a left-wing party in it's current format? I reckon The Greens are the closest there is in the bigger picture at this time.
  22. Depends how many IED's they stand on I suppose.
