No, far from it. I have friends who work with vulnerable women and they actively pushed for investigation into asian grooming gangs in Newcastle around 2005. The filth decided that nobody would believe the victims in a court and decided to do nothing. It was 10 years after that that the first prosecution, based on the evidence they had had for a decade, went ahead.
