  1. I would be cautious. Anchor/rigging into nearby tree sounds sensible to me. Ash is quite brittle, ash dieback causes vascular disfunction, it has been very dry lately which appears to compound things; the extent of crown loss appears to be no real indicator of the integrity of the stem/ground interface in trees with ADB.

  3. Perhaps I should have said "weapon systems" instead of "guns". It's the same outcome as you well know.
  4. Einstein has a lot to answer for.
  5. the UK supplies a significant number of components for the F-35 Lightning II, contributing approximately 15% of the aircraft's value. This includes items like the ejector seat, rear fuselage, and active interceptor systems, targeting lasers, and weapon release cables. The UK is also the second-largest supplier of spare parts for the F-35 after the US. Here's a more detailed breakdown: 15% Contribution: The UK supplies around 15% of the components for the F-35, including key areas like the fuel system and ejector seats. Key Components: The UK contributes to critical parts like the ejector seat, rear fuselage, active interceptor systems, targeting lasers, and weapon release cables, mainly through BAE Systems. Spare Parts: The UK is a major supplier of spare parts for the F-35, second only to the US. Global Supply Chain: The UK's involvement in the F-35 program is part of a larger global supply chain that includes over 100 UK-based tier 1 suppliers. Anyhoo, the point being is that if we stopped arming them they would have to find another way to kill each other.
  6. Action man, do you think that F-35's have guns on them?

  8. The UK? What a doylem of a question.
  9. We should stop selling them guns.
  10. The shootings in the article were at one of those aid places you refer to. Do you think the Settlers are right to move into areas that Palestinians have been displaced from? Genuine question, as I think that most of us have some common ground. I imagine we'll have a few more boatloads of Palestinian people coming over before long.
  11. Has this Labour government ‘allowed the biggest influx of migrants in British history’? – Full Fact FULLFACT.ORG Reform UK deputy leader Richard Tice hasn’t explained what this claim was based on, but neither we nor the Migration Observatory have seen data to support it.

  15. That's just another screenshot. Not the article.
  16. I searched for "Angry man with a Leonardo fetish". No drink here, I'm off the pop until July.
  17. Which article? All you did was post a screenshot that highlighted your penchant for Leonardo.
  18. Of course you did. It's tricky to ignore the ads on a screenshot.
  19. Ha Ha Ha. Is there something you're repressing? You clearly have a hard on for Di Caprio, or for The Express. I'm not sure who I'd prefer to be with in that ménage a trois.
  20. At least we got £350M a week back to the NHS... You know, it's alright to be wrong. If you consistently double down you will ultimately lose.
  21. If we'd only taken our borders back by voting for Brexit...
