  2. What about southern beech ,we were looking at a load that had been planed on an estate and they were well ahead of all the other trees planted at the same time .

  6. just a quick note ,we found some bats in a 2ft stump ,had been working near it most of the morning and spotted one leaving it at lunch time .so keep your eyes open i never would have thought there were bats in it .I went back a week later and they were still there .

  13. i cant find much in my books on them,says there is a link with die back but not proven.
  14. thats honey fungus,seen it like that a few times on birch.

  16. i like this thread ,and will start making a note of what i find in the insect world,i also have found a lot of lesser stag in rotting ash.
  17. just the ganoderma present ,but diddnt get time to have a close look but will have a better look when i get it on the ground its well hung up.please dont lock me up lol

  21. mines got 2 under slung tanks and i havnt had any problems and holds 70 litres
  22. coke with a spoon full of sugar in it is good ,that was a tip from a doctor
  23. sounds to me they meant class c.
