  1. Hi Scott - I am based in Bristol if that's any good to you. PM with contacts coming your way.
  2. Had goose last year - lovely taste but very oily and not so much plump meat on it as a chicken or turkey? Off to the in-laws tomorrow so will eat whatever is plonked in front of me. Quite happy with turkey and all the trimmings.
  3. I hadn't understood there was a new forum. I see now. As the title of this thread is 'New Picture Forum' I thought that this was a new place for general pics.
  4. I hope you wear yellow boots and big sunglasses when cutting with it.
  5. Sorry, can't get this darned thing the right way up. Loving the old school attitudes to PPE!
  6. Wow! Some fantastic pictures there. Number 28 (part 1) gave me a lump in my throat - very moving.
  7. Looks good John. I can assure you all that the lady in question is not a relation of mine, lol.
  8. Money for old rope...sounds like a winner.
  9. I know that tree Barney - you've done a great job there mate, very nice indeed.
  10. Had our drinks last night. Was a great night but the terrible idea of a black sambuca came back to haunt today. And my last day before Xmas was a 12 hour one, doh!
  11. I would double that ebay bid for your bat!
  12. Ha ha - you look well chuffed with yourself Carl! No wonder - big fell mate!
  13. How much do you want for it?
  14. Ha ha, good skills Peter!
  15. bratalk eh? Hope they've got a picture thread too.
  16. Odd that he has left a forwarding address care of a financial adviser? What's the problem with his proper address?
  17. What a horrible scene. Whether it was scumbags hanging out or someone fly tipping out of a pickup it's enough to make your blood boil.
  18. What a weird one. Good on you for keeping hold of notes on the trees and leaving a paper trail - could have been awkward if it had been a verbal quote and cash! As others have said - it seems the tenant is more at fault than you - I expect she has a snotty letter too. Hope you come out unscathed.
  19. Near Sizewell - is that the seal with two heads that glows in the dark?
  20. Easy half-day for me! Nothing on next week though....
  21. Ahem, what's going on here then Gaynor and John?! People will talk...
  22. True, I guess you do get your money back, hadn't thought of that. But I'll stick with my manhood ta. Got a xmas card today from someone that had obviously cut last years cards in half and used the picture again by sticking it on some plain card. I must admit my respect for them rose even higher rather than thinking they were a cheapskate!
  23. Nice one Rob - enjoyed your link. You must be fit as a fiddle.
  24. If they made a plate big enough I would have '1 H4VE 2 MUCH M0NEE SO 1 WA5TED 5UM ON TH15'.
