  1. I just have to wait til she gets on the phone to her mum or something - then I know I have at least half an hour to scan the forum!
  2. Cool, thanks Tockmal. Great to have all the pics and decision processes explained.
  3. More you got the more you'll spend! I reckon however much I earned I'd still probably have the same balance at the end of the month.

    Wood burner

Mate of mine is just having to replace his nice fireplace with a wood burner and flu liner - his chimney wasn't lined and he got smoke thru the brickwork in to his bedroom.
  5. Yes indeed. You still owe him for finding your kit bag don't you know!
  6. Wow! Nice one! I know someone that got fired for reducing a tree with a hedge trimmer!! That looks nice though.
  7. A fry up! Love it, any time of day.
  8. A couple of pics from my recent hol in Cornwall, including Eden and a great place called Trebah (thats where the carving and huge Gunnera are).
  9. Had a desk job selling safaris - office was in the countryside in Suffolk and after 2 years I realised that I spent most of the day looking outside wishing I was out in it! Arb ticked more boxes of my interests than any other land-based career.
  10. Aye, Carl did a fine job - the garden was a bit small but we took some fence panels out first which helped. There are 2 similar size ash trees to come down there too so we'll be there for a few days in all.
  11. Carlos doing a fine job on a nasty crack willow.
  12. First day back after 2 weeks on hol - not too bad considering.
  13. Miserable 2 days! Yesterday we got the 7.5 tonner stuck in the mud for hours, then today some boy racer drove head on in to the cabstar. Glad I'm off on holiday for 2 weeks. And that neither of the trucks are mine!!
  14. I got me a red neck today - and the wife-beater tan is coming on nicely. I am expecting sniggers all round when I take my shirt off on my holiday next week. Doh!
  15. I had the Aquafells before and they were comfy but not very hard wearing. I'm wearing Meindl's now and they are great. Had em 9 months and still going pretty strong.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
