  1. after reading frans report and others i quite fancy the tree flex...then again i had an austria for a while and really rated it. also theres the kolibri that a few people are harping on about. the problem is i love my tree magic

  3. some gecko spikes.think its time my kliens went into retirement new sawpod with the fancy bits to stop the buckles twisting new natanoko new lowering rope, probably sensible quite fancy a new harrness

  5. campings good because it allows you to have a few beers without worrying,though 2 years ago it was mighty cold,slept with type cs on and just about every top i could find. shame about the agri college its really reasonably priced but i guess people have cottend on
  6. so with the show just over a month away,what are peoples plans? im undecided as to wether i should stay over or just come up for the day.stayed in the agri college last year but it seems that they are full this time.but camping on the stand i helped on 2 years ago was good fun

  8. the problem with the longer days is that on the larger takedowns i end up working much longer days because i think oh il just do that bit.before you know it its nearly nine and youve only just got back to the yard
  9. knowing that in the summer theres still time for a quick surf after work before it gets dark

  15. weld an old axe head to a scaffold pole filled with ballest and chop your way through
  16. not sure it will do it at 10ft but il have a play if i get a chance tomorrow
  17. my short rope is xtcplus and i use the 10mm herkules hitch cord from proclimber.seems to work quite nicely
  18. my cover has just ended,been with combined for the last couple. just wondering who uses who,and how much you pay monthly. cheers john

  20. didnt want to risk getting the truck stuck in the field, so borrowed this little baby
  21. i use a shoe lace instead of a belt.less bulky but works the same.excepgt its ultimately adjustable
  22. i climbed for a couple of years on the tree hopper.. and loved it,big fan off the light weight harnesses,cant really fault the tree magic but sometimes think wider leg loops would be a bit more luxurious
  23. im currently using the tree magic harness but think it might be time for an upgrade
  24. ive often chuckled at the fact that im wearing a vest in the summer chogging down a stem at chest hight,and my feet and legs are the most protected things in the tree
  25. the sound of a tree going is amazing. dont think i could ever get bored of that
