  1. its only fraud if its a bouncy cheque. but if the person has cancelled the cheque take them to the small claims court, it may cost you 30 odd quid but there is no defence to a claim where a cheque has been stopped. basically you will get paid
  2. call them up and try to speak to them even better arrange a meeting, find out what the problem is and try and appease, if no luck then send them another bill with recorded delivery, this then stands you in better stead if it has to go further. this has happend to me twice and have resolved the situation by asking for a reduced amount(egnough to cover costs ie lads wages etc, then calmly saking them never to phone me again
  3. tried your redict system today steve, with much sucess, can see the benefit of using the pully to reduce friction so il be trying that tomorrow
  4. i think that the older techniques are good and reliable, after all its what the majority of us probably learnt on,ie prussic knot. But it is very inefficent
  5. steve, when you set up your rediect i presume you are roped in with your lanyard.the redirect makes sense but this is the only bit puzzleing me. ive allways redirected withethe other end of my rope but can see the positives in this

  10. we all do a job which primarilly involes alot of educated risks. so i think that although it is advisesd that you have 2 hands on the saw if you think that for whatever reason you should use it one handed you wouldnt do it unless you thought it was safe
  11. i use an art positioner and think its brilliant
  12. personally i think that using aspen fuel probably works out the same price wise as mixxing your own, by the time you take into account going to the petrol station etc
  13. yeah pete gave me a couple of vital tips, its taken me bloody ages to work it out

  16. i started going to yoga after i hurt my back, it really helped, but it is something you have to do regulary over a period of time if you really want to feel the benefits.also be aware of the class you are attending, one class i attended was full of 60 year old women and wasnt really dynamic egnough for me (but i did get some work out of it) . ive been going a nd practising regulary for about 6 months and really found that it has eased my back problems and incsreased my flexabiliy
  17. was out of work and got offerd a job tidying up.very quickly got bored so pushed to get my tickets done, and now 3 years later im leading a 3 man team
