  1. i was hopeing to get a king cab ranger from the forestry commision,but it looks like there wont be another coming up for a while.im not looking to spend a fortune.4 grand is the absolute max.which trucks should be avoided
  2. i know its a bloody tricky one.i suppose i can always put kit on the passenger seat if im on my own
  3. im after a pick up,and im unsure wether to get a crew cab and loose load space but have somewhere more secure for kit or get a singlecab and have the load space.any input would be appreciated cheers john

  7. answer for monkeyd no still havnt got the ropeguide,but it is still on the todo list
  8. took nearly 2 days climbing to dismantle the crown.the majority of the job was lowered due to the proximity of warehouse, fences,greenhouses and sheds
  9. i appologise for the odd picture angles,me and my computer skills are somewhat rubbish
  10. 5 overloaded loads of chippings on the old iveco.il see howmany loads of wood i get from it tomorrow
  11. the best thing about that job was we could get the chipper about 20 ft away
  12. been working on this bugger for the last 2 days.off to fell the stem in the morning.its out the back of a jewsons builders merchant, found a pigeons nest made out off wall ties
  13. 25.been working in the arb industry for severall years now,and decided i would be able to keep contracting as a climber and be able to develop my professional qaulifications at the same time
  14. starting the arb foundation degree in september at sparsholt
  15. im after a single cab really. had 5 days in auckland then got the tranz scenic down to wellington.picked up a couple of vans and headed down the coast for a bit then through wanaka etcto queenstown,then back up to cristchurch via the gates of haast,fox, arthurs pass.didnt see any tree work though which was dissapointing
  16. so after my 7 week jaunt around new zealand and bali, i have returned. i have some interseting tree pictures that i will post after ive worked my way through the several thousand posts that have accumulated durring my time away(showing how well this forum has taken off). anyway new working year and time for a nearly new pickup. any ideas? cheers john
  17. if you cant seperate your social and work life you need to take a step back and ask yourself some serious questions
  18. yeah i highly recomend the stretch airs.had a pair when they were red and they just fell apart.after that i moved over to the hiflexs but after my last pair only lasted five months and a conversation with nod im back on the stretchairs, great trouser very comfortable and durable. thumbs up from me
