  3. i bought my 7901 mostly for climbing with and im very happy with it,mines 4 months old and has had a fair bit of work some large fells and plenty of climbing

  5. personally i agree with steve,its a good time to be a subbie.
  6. im actually booked well in advance at the moment,which is very nice.i just find that some firms i subby to are a bit slack at organising there diarys and expect you to drop everything to come and climb for them...more stress haha:001_smile:

  8. Although I don't think it's really a get together for the Southerners, so far North of London...!! anything past the cattlegrid is north
  9. ive worked on some large dougies at rhinefield house in the new forest and id say hes underquoted

  14. yeah ive heard its not been a good one,got close friends in auckland and queenstown and my mates emigrating in november to nelson area,looks like il be the next to move
  15. starting a course in 2 weeks that will take me through till june,
  16. whats your point.im a freelance climber and bought the saw that was most suited to my job, ie easily runs a 30in bar and much lighter than its rivals
  17. with a bit of luck il be living in nz,going out for at least 6 months next june,hopefuuly that will be the beginning
  18. i cant reaaly fault it, il be interessted to see how its standing up after a years work.. it is really verhy light compared to other saws in the 80 to 90 cc range
  19. i reckon i must be the only person that likes the makita saws, bar lee.
