Forests need tending, please do me a favour, forests need leaving alone that includes allowing forest fires to happen, native Americans fertilized trees lol, i'm sorry I take much of that with a pinch of salt, the reason there are shells under trees is because the ate there shellfish in the shade. Oysters can last days without water, making them and ideal trade item............. Mind you saying the above doesn't mean I think the guys a fool, no way this guy knows his onions!

Not a lot mate, infact the soil-pick is a much safer tool having the nozzle cemented into the end rather than threaded, as for the removal of soil no difference...

I reckon your going to need lots of lime then mate as well as drains in the future,what's the grassed area used for Dean, lawn/green?

You need a few bags of pelleted lime and it should be added in the Autumn or Winter,it will probably need adding every couple of years. If its really wet I can't see lime solving the wet problem, you'll need land drains for that ...

This game will pick up or the prices will in another 5 years time, nothing mega, we'll know doubt have another boom period in time too.. In the meantime I'll ponce about with me hedge cutter, lawnmower and strimmer for around a oner a day, taking it nice and easy, and take a few de-compaction/vertical mulching jobs when they come in........

This is the main reason I jacked the contracting in, It wasn't fair on me or my blokes, my parting words with a local LA were ''when the prices pick up to a sensible rate, we will be more than happy to resume working for you, and you'll get the quality service you and your local population deserve, until then I'm out'' This game used to be good, a man used to put in a fair days work and he got a fair days pay, these days most slog there guts out and get bugger all!
