  1. No, nothing firm, thats why I asked; I did look into this a while back though, and comparatively you were looking at around £550 for a petrol and £1250 for a deisel. It was some time ago though, hence why I asked.
  2. I can see both points of view here, BUT, you guys who are saying volume is constant, in the true sense IT ISN'T!
  3. Yep, could be classed as a tight arse! BUT, compare prices of the unit before making an redical decision. Im not real sure if you would get the torque required from a 13 hp petrol engine, but pricewise there is a massive difference between a petrol 13hp motor and a diesel one. At the moment red is over 73p per liter so about 50+p difference. You would need a lot of work for it before that 50p caught up with the amount of outlay. Do you have any price comparisons between the units?
  4. Matt, just wondering why so against petrol?
  5. Dont think I would be interested at £50 per cube for cord. It may be seasoned, but he has nearly missed the boat for this year, Id say he should have tried selling it two months ago.
  6. Nick, that looks a real useful tool. Quite handy with doors at both sides of the rear. Any idea what it weighs empty? If you are wanting to get rid of the ply and possibly the mesh, you could fit tin like mine if its just for chip. It probably wont be any heavier.
  7. Cheers for that Morten, Id lose my head if it was loose!
  8. I fitted them to my 360. Very useful Rob. Only thing was the outer spike sticks out further than the inner. Not a problem though, just looks a bot odd.

They are excellent saws, and are more than capable as a light pruning saw. Mine is however modded and as Richard says, will almost pull as well as a stock 200. It is 5 or 6 years old now, was opened up at about 18 months old and has never let me down. It has not had an easy life, in fact its more used than the 200s. Not bad for a hobby saw!
  10. Just wondering, how many logs in a barrel?
  11. The guy is obviously a nutter, but the saw looks a good one.
  12. Nice one Mark! If you cant beat 'em, join 'em! Is there really a mobile fone dealers forum? .
  13. If you have a WC license and no duty of care, you will still have a problem if stopped by the E A or multi agency stop guys. Your duty of care should detail ALL points of collection, points of disposal, dates, amounts etc, etc. It is a written record you should keep to prove you are a responsible carrier. There is also some form of contract document you should be carrying now that shows an agreement between you and the place you are removing waste from, that should correspond to the details of the duty of care. Not sure of all the details of the latter, thats why its best not to carry waste in the first place. Too much hassle! People think having the WCL is the easy way out, but unfortunately once you register you also accept the legislation that goes with it. Not many know all that that entails!
  14. Its Ok Matt, they werent there initially, I even had time to edit my post though after they appeared! Just out of interest, how long do you kepp your trucks? I take it they will go off to auction after you have finished with them?
  15. I guess its the ugly geezer at the back tickling its rear end:sneaky2:
  16. The pics took a while to load fella but got there in the end!
  17. Yeh, forgot to say Nic, mine is with Vodaphone! You do right playing one off against the other, they all are after someone elses customer now and they can come up with stuff better than advertised. Any of them will want your custom so tell them what you want!
  18. Here a few of the ones of the devastation the white stuff caused; My firewood under glass; My caravan; My Dads 7 vintage tractors;
  19. I know it may be a distant memory for some now, but here's some bits from about three weeks ago; The chips here tipped, are one solid lump! Someone enjoyed hereself!
  20. If the tarriff is concerning you, go to Phones4U, they will pay off your old contract(if any left) and still give you a good deal. My wildfire phone was free, 18 month contract, 900 inclusive minutes, unlimited texts. Should have been £40/ month and I got another £90 cash out of them to make it £35. There could be better deals out there, but they did also buy me out of old contract for another £200, and gave me £100 for my old phone. Happy days:thumbup:
  21. I like your approach. Great giving life to an unused saw. Nice saw to mod. Yes HSE is an issue, but plenty here use them modded. You will get plenty of feedback on this, but in short, if you have any basic mechanical know how, you will be able to modify your own can. Just work out the surface area of the exhaust port, then make the area of the outlet of the exhaust itself no bigger than 80% of the port area. Then re set carb. Will be a massive increase in power, cheap, and will give you a smile. Only the first step in modding, but then you can dig deeper if you get the buzz!
  22. All trucks in my yard are smiling when on the internet:thumbup:
  23. Have they improved the camera on the i phone, it used to be very poor? Heres a little taster of the camera on my wildfire; This one is cropped on the phone then downloaded. Still giving a good quality I believe.
