  1. Was that empty, or was it full of kit, humans and fuel?
  2. Amazing what some of these so called professionals come out with:thumbdown:
  3. Your dealer needs to get upto speed on these saws! Some of them do run like this from new and need remapping. If the proceedure has been followed as in Charlieh's post it needs taking in. If your dealer doesnt sort it, take it to another who can get the software to do it.
  4. Yeh, or possibly good sales pitch. You bought one:001_rolleyes:
  5. Nice one David, good you got sorted. Was only thinking of you as we are working that side of the river at the moment.
  6. Have you managed to find anyone David?
  7. Very good! As an Apple virgin, that sounds very interesting. The only issue I have with it though is the fact you need to go fully over to apple to be able to use it to full capacity. All due to incompatability issue.
  8. Ive never had anything Apple so may stand to be corrected, but it will accept memory card, full size usb, and run office. All bonuses to me personally but I may stand corrected if the ipad will do the same. I need to get a bit more gen read up before I make the decision.
  9. Apparently, "windows 8" will be available soon on the surface. Ive been tempted many times at buying the Apple, but always thought it was lacking in the ability to perform "office" style works. Very tempted.
  10. Bob, as you have only just got the beast, and you are riding high with the thought of your new landy, just refrain from weighing it as it will shatter the massive high you are riding at the moment. Keep your head down, avoid all VOSA frquented areas, and never put it on a weigh bridge,,,,, you will love it:thumbup:
  11. Cheers Chris, will keep in mind. PS, I doubt many will want to travel to Grimsby at the moment with the roadworks north of the bridge, we're starting a big job in Brigg tomorrow and not looking forward to tackling that lot in the morning!
  12. So microsoft finally launched the Surface. Seems more flexible than current options, so is it going to take over or just another heap of techno junk? Surface with Windows RT includes Microsoft Skydrive .
  13. I'd be interested if he will travel that far mate, worth keeping in mind but Whitby is about 2 hours drive from Grimsby:001_huh: If you haven't sorted anyone David, try these. They are on a big road job at the moment north of the river but have a lot of machines. My bro knows the owner well and uses them regularly so if you want I can PM you personal details; Digger Hire in Grimsby : Stoneledge (South Bank) Ltd
  14. Matt, that sure looks well now. Trouble free motoring for a good while now. One thing I'd consider though, is blacking the chassis(at least where its visible). It is an insurance statistic that re chassied landies get stolen more. Just worth thinking of. One wee question though, do you know if the garage managed to get the loom inside the chassis leg? Just curious as they're a pig. .
  15. Guess the phonecall would speak volumes, no punn intended of course:001_rolleyes:
  16. Interesting David, is it also possible though, the tree has compensated for this restriction by a greater development of the butresses away from the girdling?
  17. Mmmm, funny this, I will be putting mine up in a week or two. Mine's 2002, metallic green, 91k full LR history with a heap of extras. What sort of price range you looking at?
  18. No idea on hp Jon, done "in house":sneaky2:
  19. On "teenager" driving mine will go above 30 no problem, more like the 33 area. Mine has only 30k on the clock though, possibly something to do with it?
  20. Sounds excessive. My td5 tows a 935 almost all the time, and I get around 24-26 from it. It has been "opened up" a little too!
  21. All good Iain, but with the xmas thing just around the corner we all need to be thinking of others too. Nice reminder.
  22. Cheers Iain, good on you offering. I hope things are all good with you, and good to see you on here, you been busy?
  23. All credit due mate, you do sound keen. Good to see:thumbup1:
