  1. After doing many mathematical calculations, that car was facing the direction of travel for 12.7% of the time of the vid:lol:
  2. That to me says you weren't up to the job Daniel. Either get a bigger basket, find another way or pass the job. You NEVER accept damage when the customer asked specifically to avoid an obsticle.
  3. All depends what the missus is like fella:sneaky2: Personally i like more profit:lol:
  4. Just thinking, that truck should weigh around 2300 as a standard tipper with no kit or gready boards. Cant figure where another ton has come from:confused1:
  5. APF Johnny? Suppose i ought to give you chance to rip me for a change:lol:
  6. Do i get a prize?
  7. Shall we guess the weight on that truck then Johnny? Got as much chance of getting the answer:lol:
  8. 3247 harrogate kilos then
  9. Come on johnny! This is going to turn out in Harrogate kilos isnt it?
  10. Ok, I would say that load is worth £150 delivered (approx) That would hack a lot of your current customers off. Say 50% of them. Say you delivered 10 loads per week at the moment, making £350 less delivery. But after price rise only deliver 5 loads. But with £600 profit less delivery. Now you have half the customers to deal with, less logs to cut, more time in bed with the missus, AND nearly twice the profit! Sound any good?
  11. Ok Hodge, you say £30 costs. I take it thats per load and delivered at £65, yes? When you say 3 bags per load, is that 0.5 cu bags or 0.72?
  12. Sure do, ive got a wee suggestion for you:thumbup1: Roughly will do.
  13. On the nail Robert:thumbup:
  14. Hodge, seriously, what are your costs on a bag, inc labour machinery fuel etc?
  15. Can i order 20 bags please? Does that say enough?
  16. Looks like they know how to lash timber down!
  17. Come on Johnny, I aint goin to bed till you tell us!
  18. To give you a guide, NFU charge 5% of renew value. Hence for £4k cover premium would be £200. That is new for old and they will pay out "if reasonable precautions have been taken"
  19. 2.75t
  20. No worries James I was taking the mick out of Darren as he thinks plastic is ace! Shouldnt take credit away from your hinge though, it is very nice:thumbup:
  21. Very nice James, I recon the high lift wedge made a difference though. Much better and safer than the plastic ones:thumbup1:
  22. All the best Lorry, congratulations! Glad all are well, say all the best to the missus too:thumbup:
  23. Was good to watch though all the same, but as we all know we couldnt use bottle jacks in this country as they are not fit for purpose:001_rolleyes:
  24. Or a high lift alloy wedge:thumbup1:
  25. Will take a look at them Justin as im in the maket for some too. Got a set of Youngmans industrial step ladder combi at the moment, served me well but now a bit rickety.
