  1. Bacon is cured, ie preserved with salt and other preservatives, including saltpetre to keep it pink. Unprocessed bacon is just pork. Cheap bacon is just injected with lots of brine to bulk the weight up, properly dry or brine cured bacon actually looses weight during the curing process. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    Auction

    I'm going.
  3. When I first started working down here I would put my waterproofs in the truck every day regardless, the other lads hardly ever bothered in summer unless it was actually raining. They didnt believe me when I said that up north it rained a couple of times a week even in summer, with little or no warning.... I still wont leave the yard without waterproofs though......
  4. The trees are tiny, lots of willows, poplars, and leylandii, and its very flat compared to the north west. Weather is great though, it never rains! (Well, almost never) I moved down here from Manchester 4 years ago, for the same reason as you.
  5. I had targets, I dealt with them by crushing them with 3 tonnes of willow. (Kidding)
  6. There's no way that top was bigger than mine. (22" diameter and 40'ish long)
  7. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJB5dVDjo6k]Crash bang wallop - YouTube[/ame]
  8. Nice one Joe, good luck with it!
  9. Lean seize apparently, but its going for the full works, massage and aromatherapy, seaweed wrap and a detox.
  10. Coming soon to a bench near you. (Spud that is)
  11. I would suggest you drill both ends of the crack before welding it up.
  12. New iMac don't have optical drive either. You can buy an external one, or download software. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Is that what I used on that ash takedown at ashwell springs?
  14. Haven't you got a mini loader? I usually push my chipper with the loader if it needs moving any distance. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Iv dropped a branch on my quadchip. Broke a tiny piece of plastic off the reset button. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I use the Sena bluetooth motorcycle headset, mostly for phone calls although it does work as intercom too.
  17. Dibs on Lot 4! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Worth asking again, but the research they had done last time I asked was fairly conclusive. I thought the same as you, still not 100% convinced, but I wouldn't assume there is decay just because there is borer damage. Like you say, 90% of pops have borer holes, but most of them are still standing...... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Forest research say there is no link between hornet moth boring and decay Matt. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Cheers for the recommendation, but if the original body is knackered then putting a Protipper in it isn't a great idea. Fitting a cab star body should be fairly straightforward if the chassis rail spacings are the same. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. You'll have to pay uk vat on it. Unless you smuggle it in under a pile of duty free cigarettes of course. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. This is my current ride.
  23. TM is the only one I'm aware of, if you need to hang from your lanyard in another harness then move the biners to the bridge. Much more comfy anyway.
  24. Used to work for a company based about 5 miles from the Bateson factory, we have 4 or 5 Bateson trailers, all very good trailers. Staff very helpful too, they custom built a tiltbed for a tracked chipper for us.
  25. I run a 1" bar on mine, goes through kindling like you wouldn't believe.
