  1. Just ring Dean at global and book a demo.
  2. 0.6 with no pulse is impressive for mig, I would get the tig out for anything thinner than 1 mm, but my mig is an older transformer machine. Did you weld that in flat position or top to bottom vertical?
  3. Did you use pulse on the 0.6 mm?
  4. The inverter welders have really come on in leaps and bounds, even the Chinese made gear works really well.
  5. Glad you mentioned it. 6013 is an aluminium grade, but to be fair it's usually welded with 4043 filler, so I am kinda stretching a point.
  6. Easy enough with a reversing camera, or for a low tech solution put a flag on each side of the chipper.
  7. Amberon are nationwide.
  8. That's a question mark tree, in full fruit too.
  9. At least if you're wearing a hijab they won't be able to tell who did it.
  10. Another vote for Amberon here.
  11. Anyone who knows anything about welding will tell you 6013 is also available as mig wire or tig filler. Since you obviously know more about welding than treequip I'll leave you too it.

    Heart attack

Genetics, diet and lifestyle all factor in If you want to know how much is genetics, use the qrisk calculator to work out your personal risk, and then change the family history part and see how much the risk changes. It's probably less important than you think. http://www.qrisk.org
  13. Locally sourced single estate timber.... Some of mine comes from estates too, but usually a council owned housing estate rather than the posh kind. All the poplar, willow and leylandii boards must have sold really quick, because there were none left this morning.
  14. The plank tent got me thinking too, mostly that my own log pile is worth about a million pounds at those prices.
  15. As long as the body is less than 8'6" wide, and you fit the proper lights then you're good to go. Most lorries have at least 8" of overhang each side.
  16. I'm hopefully going tomorrow morning.
  17. That much extra width will be a pain imo, but if it's cheap enough it will be worth trimming down to fit.

No, I think Marks personal reputation is pretty much global now.
  19. Not genuine green teeth though.
  20. Global were the cheapest last time I checked. Only bought 700s though.
  21. I use a surface grinder with a tilting table. Works but it's a bit time consuming, probably 20-30 minutes per pair.
  22. Griffins bigger than otter, but 6 is bigger than 4.
  23. Two burning questions, how are they holding up long term, and can you fit an iPhone 6 in an otter box in the phone pocket?
  24. I had the same issue with mine, but it was the flywheel walking down the shaft that opened the gap, as they hadn't torqued the bolts in the taperlock bush properly. You shouldn't have to bend the bracket to gap it correctly, unless it's a different setup to mine.

    Winch leads

Indeed it does, but it's a very short distance back to the battery, and a fairly short duty cycle compared to running a winch for several minutes at a time. It would certainly work, but it's not advisable.
