  7. Sorry Chris, I didn't know who you were till after you'd gone good to see you

  9. Good to see you all today, (those who I saw) hope to see more of you tomorrow.
  10. Cool first day, a little slower than I'd expected tbh. If you're a member of the forum pop up and say hello to us, we're quite away from the main "shopping" up on the end of the demo circuit. Weathers been good so far, ground drying up well too. We have several sizes in stock though some are running out, and range of the designs. Myself and Steve will be manning the stall, along with young Jo from the Children's Trust.
  11. Look I can't remember specifics, I was dosed out of my tree on morphine, but it was all recompensed once I found I could claim. I think at a guess it took 4 weeks, but I may be mistaken. Thing is, if you can't earn your every day living, it's partial disability, or worst case total disability. I couldn't stress about anything at the time, but my wife did because we didn't know the way it works. As soon as I felt fit to return to work I stopped claiming, foolishly too early I realise now, but I'm stubborn and I know best
  12. Take no notice of the nay Sayers, they are wrong. You have paid in, claim it. The last thing you need to worry about is bills when things go wrong. I know. I lived off my savings, then emptied my over draft through ignorance, my insurance paid out, but it doesn't cover every single bill and costs. The system is there to help you, not to be misused, but when you really need it it is there. There is no shame in claiming.
  13. Ok Tom, get down your Job Centre +, if you've paid your dues properly you should be entitled to ESA. If you're a family man then other benefits come into play as well, they are trained to give you what you need. Did you have an accident policy, then claim on that too, it will not affect your benefits. I have just been on the benefits system for the bestnpart of this year, rent and council tax paid, help with heating costs the whole lot. You will be means tested, you may be required a medical at the Job Centres request, to one of their docs, but if you're off long term that's the least of your worries. I had ESA for about 7 months, I never thought I was entitled to anything being s/e. Hope this is a help Ps, I didn't know jack about claiming, they sat there and said you get this amount, pressed a button on the computer and it was there like magic. So I don't think you need to worry
  14. Is anything open down here?
  15. You're up at 4.35am? You're keen! Or do you have to track down a decent brekkie? catch you later:thumbup1:
  16. Hope to catch up with you over the three days Ted, I'll be up on the Arbtalk (Millennium Stadium) stand, way way up the top of the site, looking down on the show
  17. Yeah, who cares where it is?
  18. Excellent news, congratulations
  19. Oh don't you get a full English with your room
  20. If you no someone with this months Forestry Journal, it's on the map in there, if not it will be listed in the show guide. I haven't got one to hand here, so can't help further.
  21. I'll try and snap a couple of pics and post them up so you get a feel for it before you come, a little taster if you like
  22. T seemed a long drive around the site, let alone to walk it, at least I suppose I have three days to get around it
  23. Well we're here and the stands set up, bit of rain but not too bad. Show look bigger than before, laid out well. We're in a prime location, overlooking the entire ground, bit of a hike around to us but at least we tried
  24. Hi it rained as we were setting up the stand, peed down in fact but the forecast is good, so far. The show looks bigger than before, plenty of plastic tracks and hardcore down tommake it better to get about. Now in the B&B looking forward to meeting everyone over the next few days
  25. Why not, it's still relevant, even now, and I was following the other thread and thought we'd been here before. and I'm a slow reader
