  8. to be fair, i did also call him simple a couple posts later. no wait....i said the idea was from a simpleton.... no...sorry...i said the idea was simple, thats right:001_smile:
  9. better still, change that krab for a dmm revolver
  10. stick the sling through the spliced eye then clip it to the krab, job done.
  11. yeah the krabs are an issue......but that could easily be solved.
  12. no it wasnt sarcastic mate.....extremely simple idea....i will share it on some other sites if you dont mind.
  13. cant see any reason why you shouldnt do that....only 2 things to consider as far as i can see. 1. bulkier, cant be daisy chained as nice as a thing sling. 2. slings come ce marked and rated.....hand tying odd pieces of rope, although perfectly safe in most applications will be a bit of an unknown quantity when it comes to max breaking strain etc. cant think of any other significant issues?
  14. you're welcome, hope the feedback proves useful
  15. damm mate, sorry to hear that
  16. that was on an MOD site, so no photography/video'ing aloud unfortunatelly
  17. i can thoroughly recommend the RC3001. Got to use mine on a nice sized pine the other week.....snatching half ton sections went smoothly as could be. cant wait to use it again and hopefully will be able to get some pictures and videos of it in action next time.
