  1. like i said, it may take some time to propogate....firefox is working fine for me now. try clearing all your history
  2. googles review has come back and the site is now clean although it may take some time for this to propogate fully.
  3. are you on wifi in a hotel?? some places block youtube

  6. heres the deal. arbchat which is the domain that serves the ads on arbtalk has been infected with a virus. google has blacklisted arbtalk as a result. the ads have been disabled(for now till the problem is fixed) and arbtalk is now safe.....in the meantime however ive had to resubmit arbtalk to google for review...and i dont know how long that takes.

  8. i seem to be getting lumbered with a lot of re-reductions at the moment....hate them! the spec on this job was to reduce back to previous reduction points.....that was out of the question, went a decent bit above that, didnt turn out so bad

Will, you're young, but you're also keen and conscienscous....unlilke the type of youngsters this thread is discussing so dont take it perosnally. but in reference to your post.....yes you have to pay the same amount of stuff...ie food, petrol, car insurance....but you cant compare that to someone of older years paying a rent/mortgage and supporting a family.

  18. thats a very important point there paul. i have worked in the past with some very intelligent arborists who i have watched talk to clients about the work they plan to do, and have seen the clients eyes literally glaze over. its good having the knowledge but not everyone is impressed(or fooled?) by spiel containing lots of big words that they dont understand. very important to be able to present your knowledge in 'laymans' terms to the average homeowner.

  20. i have dynaglide, and whilst its ok, the liros NEVER seems to knot up...it has an almost silky feel to it.... oh and the best bit is the noise it makes when you huss it:biggrin:
