  1. Highly unlikely
  2. Wouldn’t imagine so where it is
  3. I did a Picus on the same site 4 years ago and don't recall seeing it then. I'd have thought it would have been picked up on the general report if it were dead then.
  4. Obvious questions out of the way first. Have you asked the neighbour if he knows if its his?
  5. I don’t know, I’m a fan actually. It’s nice when you’re the other side of town and running out of time that you can add another hour via your phone without having to walk all the way back to the car park, that’s progress. What I dont agree with is that they are now phasing in app only systems at the car parks. Wouldn’t be so bad if all the car parks used the same app I guess
  6. Steady on there mate. You have those big tax bills to pay you know
  7. Its dropped a bit, but its also been added back to US exchanges today so it might have another little spike as the americans start purchasing it. They've basically not been able to purchase it since the court case started, at least not easily, which mostly put a stop to more casual investors.
  8. Would AOD just take out a single stem like this?
  9. Nope. Only external signs I could see was the obvious dead portion, and the delaminated bark
  10. Interesting Picus test yesterday on this roadside Oak tree. One side of the tree has died back almost completely with no obvious reason. No fungi at base. Lots of delaminating bark, had to remove a small piece to get a sensor in. Picus showed severe decay on just one part of the tree which was also the same side as the dieback. Delaminated bark extended up trunk and I suspect it may be decayed a considerable distance up the trunk which may account for the dieback just on this side of the tree. Other side of the tree appears healthy although there are some sizeable pruning wounds so its possible dieback was removed recently. Interested to hear thoughts on what might be at play here. Any suggestions @David Humphries @daltontrees

  13. No idea what species of trees will work out there but I’d personally be looking at a Niwaki style tree given the location and aesthetics Cloud Trees. 14. I assume you have a petty cash on your accounts? Pay from that, assuming he’s happy to give you an invoice?
  15. Fiskars X27 seems to be most people’s go to. Considerably cheaper than £300 too!
  16. I started to lose my bottle a little before I stopped climbing full time, although I have always been a little uneasy(scared is a big word) of heights in some respects. I couldn't walk to the edge of a cliff and peer over. Happy enough when I am attached to something though!
  17. I'd strongly disagree that anyone holding an aerial rescue ticket is a competent climber.
  18. Why sell one training course when you can sell 10
  19. I make sure I wear mine on the left wrist for that very reason
  20. I have an Apple Watch, does all the same thing. I do wonder as to the accuracy, and I’m sure some of it is down to guess work, but it’s still going to be a lot better than our own guess work. I look at them as a very useful guide, nothing more.
  21. Grim mate! Glad to hear you are making such great progress though!
  22. That about sums it up for me
