  10. If memory recalls it was when hiring a set of traffic lights
  11. Does it need it if narrower than the vehicle lights? I was told ages ago that narrow plant didn’t require lighting. A lot could have changed since then mind
  12. Not sure thats correct. I think you are legally obliged to 'offer' them the arising, not legally entitled to just dump it there.
  13. Perhaps the owner simply can't afford it, was that a consideration? I know if someone came to be and asked me to pay £1000 for a tree THEY wanted to remove, well depending on the timing chances are theres other priorities for my money
  14. Blocks popping out their splice? Minging that wouldnt cause a failure, the rope would still be contained within the splice of the eye
  15. home made splices?
  16. really? i've not heard a single one. Surely thats down to the splice rather than the ring though. You could splice a sling onto a block afterall if you so wished
  17. See that cafe across the road? I bet they’ll know ?
  18. Can highly recommend the blue tongue with a zigzag. Never tried Drenaline though.
  19. Still climbing then Adam?
  20. I recommend them David. They are great for small to medium sized rigging and redirects. Anything else the block comes out for. Looks like treekit sell them https://www.treekit.com/ring-ring-retrievable-rigging-sling.html
