  1. Used to work for a customer every year who would always be out first thing in the morning with a glass of champagne. Wealthy lady in the 60's

Looks like a genuine 4-stroke with separate oil tank, rather than the 4-mix models? I had a Stihl 4 stroke strimmer for years which was basically a rebadged honda I believe. Lovely strimmer. Not on par with a Stihl F400 for power but for regular grass strimming it was a joy to use. Starting is effortless, and easy to start with your arm stretched behind your back when still strapped to the harness

Yep, big fan of the fuji robin hedge cutters. I've used pretty much every make under the sun at some point and nothing comes close to them for quality of cut. Can't speak for the strimmers though. Do the Dolmar hedge cutters have the same cutting gear as the original fuji's?
  8. i'd recommend the rope guide over pulley saver
  9. Thats not commercial climbing, it just means you have the tickets to do the job. You'll soon find they count for very little in the real world. its all about experience. If you go it alone from the start I can guarantee you will find yourself out of your depth very quickly. Thats not to say you can't start a business, just know your limits and employ a suitably experienced freelancer on jobs you're not comfortable with.
  10. Confession time I have never used either. I just used to leave my Ddrt set up round the trunk. Both the above answers are the correct way to go about it if you want to play it by the book. I was always too lazy, probably fortunate it never came back to bite me in the arse
  11. I remember 86, that was the one year I did the panini sticker album thing
  12. Its not the poor players fault, its always the manager
  13. I'm reliably informed its COLYBIA FUSIPES and is harmless
  14. Not an England fa, I think they suck! Not a football fan either, much like a large percentage of tree surgeons in my experience, not really sure why this is? But the world cup and the euros is one time I do sit down and spend some time with my boy as hes a massive football fan. I like to place a load of bets just to make it interesting, and have already started putting them on. My budget is £50 which I will use to make 50 individual 12 fold bets. Had one come in on the euros last time, not a 12 fold unfortunately, but still won £2600 off a £1 bet. A couple of the 12 folds i've already placed would net £2,000,000 if they came in...very unlikely, but it does make the competition much more interesting
  15. The one issue I always had with helmets is what the headband is made of. A lot of them insist on using a sponge type material with just encourages sweating
  16. well yell is pretty much a dead duck, along with most traditional forms of advertising. Most people still swear by local parish magazines though. That leaves us with the internet A good web presence is essential in my opinion, this is a window to your business. I assume you have one? Then theres various means of advertising it. Investing money into the website itself is the cheapest advertisement as it costs nothing to have a nice position in google. If not you have the option of google adwords. Then of course theres facebook, twitter, instagram, list goes on and on. I pay to advertise on facebook(although a different type of business) but im still not convinced its a good use of advertising revenue regardless how you target it, word of mouth being better
  17. Most comfortable I had was the Black Diamond half dome https://www.bananafingers.co.uk/helmets/black-diamond/half-dome You used to be able to get ear defender attachments for them, not sure about now.
  18. Yep I know that! Everyone will read it differently as well. I paid for an online course in copyrighting, just not had the time to sit through it yet
  19. Could be interesting. Who generally wins?
  20. Thats what I was always taught, however things seem different these days. Most websites are published with 1 space as it apparently makes it easier to read.
