  7. Hi Michael, You're going to struggle with a 270 on a trunk that size. Sounds like a job for a professional, at least to get it on the ground and safe for you.

    Rope

same rope as hedera I believe. And yep, can't fault it with the zigzag
  12. Maybe, but at the same time won't a base tie take a bit of the shock out of the system?
  13. Good question. I seem to recall someone saying base tying actually creates more of a load at the top. I've never quite got my head around that.
  14. Hi David, if you ever need picus tests doing I am offering this service now
  15. If its Peters design it looks like they have made a few alterations. Maybe the ram was moved as its more efficient. Looks flipping ugly though http://powertipper.co.uk/
  16. Thats the way it always was. Trainers and assessors seemed to always be guys in their 50's and 60's who had spent their entire lives working in the woods.
  17. From 2016...advertising the same company as I mentioned above. They don't appear to be trading anymore.
  18. Theres certainly been a few incidents caught on camera lately that maybe, just maybe could have been avoided with refresher training. Then again probably not
  19. Yep this is nothing new. Its been the recommendation for a number of years now. The cynic could argue its a money making exercise. For many i'd argue the refresher training is pointless. For some it could be more appropriate
  20. I found Mule tippers on youtube, but it looks like their website is dead. I can only assume it didn't work out for them.
