  6. I've been in touch with the park in question today and its all been ok'd, including camping.
  7. i'll have to have a read through it again
  8. i personally wouldnt tolerate it but then im not a very tolerant person, and who would i be in that situation? other people are more laid back and prefer to ride with it and suffer the headache rather than discipline, re-train, replace etc
  9. ok for example, if i have to re-enter a tree after break and its a pain to get a ladder near, i'll set up like that. to body thrust. maybe have a groundie pulling the tail aswell, piece of piss
  10. well i did say some of it needs revising. a lot of the points are good, maybe exagerrated. some like i said, just arent applicable over here
  11. i'd like something like that for my pda
  12. i didnt get on too well with it the first time i used it, i might try it with another rope at some point though. i use that set up occassionally....it has its uses
  13. i like using tenex slings
  14. a barbecue can be arranged im sure, everyone could bring their own tents

  16. haha, you'll soon get the hang of it!
  17. please welcome new site sponsor Orange plant
  18. highscales was certainly original...thats what we're looking for really, and that was why i initially made it 30 sec vids....nice short clips that anyone in the world has time to compile, the challenge is making something interesting happen in that time frame. you could record someone spending 2 minutes doing a hinge and backcut in a tree, then the only cool parts going to be the 10 seconds or so when the tree falls over anyways!
  19. that would be my concern! i looked at it myself when i first started using the m-direct, quickly decided it wasnt safe. the pulley in the krab saves a negligable degree of friction to be worth taking the risk IMO
  20. this is about all i use mine for http://www.arbtalk.co.uk/showthread.php?t=116
  21. for rigging you mean?? and how big a branch are we talking?
