welcome to the forum mate.....not 100% sure on the answer but im guessing its like anything else.....everythings fine till you have an accident then the insurance companies will do everything they can do get out of it....im sure that would be somehting they'd look at

Anna, the norwich comp is totally different to the ISA comps, its a more relaxed fun event. rope is pre-set, 1 climber each side of the tree, race to the top, run round hitting the targets then back down again. no emphasis on point scoring, just ring the bells quick as ya can!

Jay, i havent done the climb but i did see it last year....its a straight forward climb, you wont have any problems with it at all. its set in to groups too so you will be climbing aloingside novices. bear in mind there are always people who enter these comps purely for the taking part......climbing times vary enormously...enter, it will do you good.

I dont have a chip box on my truck nor intend to have one built as I dont often need one, on the odd occassion i do i get by. I have a job this week where it would be handy to get more chip on and want to knock up something cheap and easy to use. My idea is 3 sheets of ply cut to the same length(the width of the bulk head)and fixed together with hinges. very crude but at least they should stand up on their own whilst theres no chips holding them up. If anyone has any suggestions to make this better please let me know

guys....i dont think its beneficial for the site to be mentioning other companies names in a deragatory manner, its not what i intended the site for and im sure none of us would be happy if it was us being duscussed....please remember this is a public forum. matty, you are right though, i think its hard to become a large tree company and maintain the same standards you could expect from a 2 man operation.
