  1. i dont think you'll find any arb suppliers selling them for climbing, and if you do perhaps you should tell them they need to get themselves up to date!
  2. you could argue that if 3 way is good enough for life lines it should also be required for tools.....after all, if you dropped a chainsaw because a screwgate worked its way loose its gonna hurt someone.
  3. the only similarity to this new rope and the fly will be in the diameter...the construction is a world apart.
  4. ive quoted a few jobs lately knowing that im probably going to go vat registered soon....thats my problem though and i'll just lose out on 17.5%....charging someone the vat when not vat registered is a little bit silly.
  5. well if they get their way sooner or later climbing itself will be outlawed in favour of mewps and there would be no need for a top handled saw anyway
  6. yes mark, but ive changed the setup, you are allowed a 10 minute window to edit your posts. I had to change this as posts were being edited and deleted long after the conversations had evolved rendering most of the thread senseless.
  7. did you ask about the nameservers?
  8. being a double braid doesnt mean its necessarily going to be a better performing rope, the proof is in the pudding! splice is definetly an issue though, the splice on this new line is very nice

  19. when i switched servers a lot of members couldnt access the site, notably anyone on AOL. the server gave me some different nameservers to use and the problem was fixed, could be as easy as that mb
