  11. I'd say its highly unlikely you have the harness set up all wrong....this isnt just a pull on and go style harness, it sits different to previous designs. i'd suggest you dont give up on it, rather contact the designer, i'll pm his address
  12. getting in the way aside, i dont know how you can stick the heat of having long hair. ive never had long hair personally, couple inches long at the very very most but started shaving down to a grade1 2 years ago, would never go back.
  13. i had dealings with those charities, did an advert once as im a soft touch but i wont again, any money i give to charity now is this sites charity the childrens trust. the latest thing these less reputable charities are trying is just as andy says, phoning up and making out you said you would be having an advert 8 months previously. i wonder how many people fall for that, i had to stop and think myself!
  14. id wear gloves regardless personally
  15. lightness, less rope drag, noticable if you are climbing with a slack tender
  16. semi-chisel on biggers saws without a doubt.
  17. i think those people are the ones that were never passionate about the job int he first place
  18. yale blaze 11mm. do you wear sticky gloves? makes all the difference. thats a good rope as is samson velocity 11mm.....but it may be worth waiting a week or so and reading the reviews on the new rope from new england
  19. i'd say best of luck but due to the date of your departure im not so sure
  20. yeah but it was only about 12 years ago so i'll let you off
