the army keep everything on a dump site on the airfield fortunately

All went smoothly, despite bt deciding they wouldnt come and take down the lines for us. the wind was also a pain and the big limb going straight over the sycamore presented a slight problem. lots of ropes and redirects.....back tomorrow to flop the sizable stick.

i mentioned this tree a couple of weeks ago, tackled it today for one of my contract climbing customers with the help of BigA on the ropes and Ben on ground duties along with camera duties:icon14:

i dont reckon its been thinned as much as it looks ed...some of those young vigorous oaks can be quite spare in the crowns in my experience

i have almost an exact replica of that job going on....repollard ever other tree last year, went to view them last week and they put on plenty growth. another year and we'll do the rest. i think trees such as these that like you say are literally falling part dont leave too many options other than repollard.

well i dont know many companies who would put much more than 2 men at work signs and a few cones out on a residential street
