  1. and whats wrong with that? why shouldnt an experienced climber turn up and charge well for a days solid climbing?

  3. based on your size i'd say the only harness without question would be the kolibri
  4. ed's about right, up to £35 a ton for premium grade firewood....small stuff. thats what i've been paying, although have got some better deals along the way. you gotta get some of your wood for free though or its not worth doing. It will still pay a wage though
  5. £150+vat i believe £100 is a good deal
  6. prices seem to start at about £15 which for me would be very cheap as its costing me considerably more than that each month on my cell phone bill.

  11. i heard the other day that as of the new financial year you can claim 100% tax back on purchases in the first year. My accountant never mentioned this to me in our last visit, and i did mention buying a new truck. Anyone heard anything about this? and also does this mean there may be some better deals to be had pre-april?

  16. I didnt put a huge premium on the work, although higher than my usual dayrate for freelancing.....its going to be like a day off for me!!

  19. i need a laptop so i can carry out admin work on arbtalk wherever i am
  20. I noticed mobile broadband has been out a fair few months now, just plugs into the usb on your laptop. Has anyone tried it out yet, if so with what provider? and whats the coverage like?
  21. i can see using a pole from a mewp due to the access limitations involved with a mewp, but sod carrying one round a tree when im climbing!
