  1. matty you are welcome to come have a go with my processor anytime if you want to try before you buy. a 10 minute demo really isnt long enough, you want a good hour on a machine really to get a feel for it.
  2. this is an old thread mate, some more of the same may come up at the same site though so i will bare you in mind, cheers
  3. may be worth posting over at http://www.landscapertalk.co.uk
  4. you can burn anything in a log burner...they will spit, and ideally need drying out really well as they are full of resin. cut and split them now and burn them next year.
  5. i think you're missing the point mate:001_smile:
  6. best red ive had this christmas was that blossom hill grenache you brought round. like a bit of blue cheese myself
  7. yes ive used both saws and they are really incomparable. the 341 is a far better saw but obviously costs more. if you are using it for small felling, snedding and general small scale work the 260 is perfectly adequate. if you want a bit more performance go for the 341 with .325 pitch chain
  8. thats done it...ive just emailed dogcam! nice video mate
  9. you get what you pay for mate. the pov is in a whole different class. i bought the redecessor to the atc5k, sold it on ebay the next day. they are ok for messing about but not for quality footage.
  10. sure does mate. onew of the perks of the job and makes up for all the awkard jobs we get! all that wood will go for firewood most likely.
  11. can you quit the caps mate, it gets annoying. as for pricing...some things just arent available cheap anymore mate....specially not quality items. theres plenty of trousers available in the £100 price bracket, just not stretch airs!
  12. i can pretty much deduce from that post exactly why the fruit pastilles tasted so good and why they appeared to be so big!
  13. nice little vid mate...i really have to get a helmet cam!
  14. i wasnt suggesting you were the one in the wrong:001_smile: i guessed by your name you have a little experience in this field
  15. if you went for the 341 it will perform far better if you change it to .325 pitch in which case you'll need another size file anyway!
  16. the 2 of you must be reading off of different charts then! havent seen the data myself, though coincidentally i guessed it at 15ton on the day.
  17. of course every tree has to be assessed on an individual basis
