  1. i suppose the real question is what am i going to spend £7500 on? haha
  2. when are lenders going to learn? just the other day i get a phone call from bt offering me a credit card that will give me discount on my phone bill...naturally i accept....then they tell me, "im sorry but we can ONLY start you off on a £3000 limit".........then this morning during a meeting at my bank they tell me that i am guraranteed approval for a credit card with £4500 limit on it....now bearing in mind i didnt even ask for this facility, is this responsible lending? doesnt appear to me that the banks are really making much effort to curb things at all...anyone else had similar experiences lately?
  3. if you check out some of the american sites theres always news of someone getting sucked into a chipper.......we dont have that problem over here as we dont generally need chippers that size thankfully
  4. didnt you post this already?
  5. do you know how far he fell hollands?
  6. bad news mate, thanks for letting us know! i guess he'll have plenty time on arbtalk for a few weeks!!
  7. lets have the subaru story that you never finished!!! or started for that matter

  9. thats just bloody mean, who would do such a thing?!!
  10. looks nice and untouched like they should do
  11. do you keep those guards on all the time?
  12. there are a lot of insurance threads which you can search using the search button at the top if you like. im personally with lycetts who seem ok. i dont think theres a "cheapest" company, you're best phoning a few.
  13. never really used any other machines than what i have which is the hakki pilke....dont really know what i'd go for if i was to get a new one.
  14. i'll try get gavin to come and comment
  15. company i sub to have the dalen and seem very pleased with it. it appears to be a very well built piece of equipment
  16. same price here. my attitude is, i dont really care if they have it or not as it will go next year....and as i've already told them at this point to shop elsewhere its entirely their choice.
  17. well put it this way....my machine cost me £4600 5 years ago, and a guy from the factory that makes them told me at the apf that i could sell it for that now.
  18. unlike you to go overkill on the gear front rupe
  19. what money did you pay out of interest?
  20. bad points....it costs a lot of money and only comes out to play a couple of times a year
  21. snap 660 is a nice size saw as someone else said....but my 460 with 25" bar does pretty much everything i need.....if the 880 comes out its because its a huge tree.
  22. i dont think theres anything wrong with selling those logs, but only if the customer knows exactly what it is they are getting. selling such logs as seasoned must surely be against the trade descriptions act and therefore illegal. i just sold a load of green wood tonight as it happens.....but told the customer exactly what it was and gave them the option of going elsewhere...they chose to take what i had. nothing wrong with that IMO
