  1. the AA havent shown any support for this site yet...i doubt it would go noticed
  2. i have mendl and haix and i think they are both a very good quality boot. wether they are worth the money is down to your own judgement IMO. there are plenty cheap boots on the market if you prefer.
  3. exactly, and lets not forget the dealers have to pay more for their future stock, so they are naturally going to want to make more off their current stock to allow for this....its business.
  4. you almost make that sound like a fact:thumbdown:
  5. most of the increase is due to the exchange rate...this has been covered in quite a few threads already....can't be helped
  6. not travelling the other side of the country to rent one!
  7. its ok mate, you're coming on as a sponsor so you're welcome to put up a new thread if you wish
  8. please start a new thread if you want to discuss something other than what bazbro put up
  9. thanks mate, thats what i was after. perhaps he'll pipe up himself too
  10. thanks for all your replies...i am specifically looking for feedback on the atlas though, anyone?
  11. tom, i do have a chipper but as im not really interested in doing my own work im not that worried about losing the ldv/chipper type combo. im happy to just take on jobs where chips can stay on site really. the only waste im interested in carting is wood.
  12. this one here http://www.atlastrailers.co.uk/index.asp will be towing it with a pick up
  13. i'm toying with the idea of selling my ldv and going the trailer route. I'd like to try out an Atlas trailer(amongst other reasons to support one of my sponsors) and am interested if anyone has any experience with them?
  14. sorry to hear chris. i wouldnt have thought this sort of gear was that nickable....perhaps with the rise of firewood prices we're going to see more of this.
  15. theres plenty on here, and plenty that view as guests also.
  16. haha.....you did the right thing mate trust me!

  17. i think what tony was getting at was how different the 2 jobs are, and probably neither side appreciate the others till they have done it. Tony has done both sides, so i would imagine it can be annoying to hear tree officers being generalized when people dont really know the ins and outs of what they have to put up with/go through. i know i certainly dont!
  18. i know exactly what you mean.
  19. would you use someone that was slagging you off?
  20. ok thats fine, and i wasn't singling anyone out....people sometimes forget just how many people read this board, it was more of a gentle reminder than anything else:001_smile:
