Good on you Stefan, I can't be bothered going to weddings either, complete waste of my time. Often drop the wife off at these types of functions and means I get the evening to myself to potter about at my leisure, pick her up at the end of the evening, works for us.

See. the thing is Stefan its not always about you, and what you want..

Has it not crossed your mind that your wife might of felt embarrassed sat on her own why all else brought their wives, husbands or partners?..

This.

You used work as an excuse to get of going to a wedding fact. Read that as working rather than doing something else.

Worst thing about this is that you missed out on vol au vents with soggy pastrie, a disco playing 80's remixes and spinning lights around an empty dance floor (apart from a couple of kids doing knee sliders across the parquet flooring).

And you avoided wearing a suit that never did and still doesn't fit you anymore.... and pulsing veins in your feet because they've grown two sizes bigger since the last time you wore them.

cheers, steve

Gnome it's how it should be, I honestly think I would get a heart attack being on a wedding knowing I could be stump grinding
