If you never have to use it it's still exceptional value for money.

That's right. An Arbaid kit is getting closer to the top of the wish list.

At the moment we have the Israeli bandages and celox etc..

We've all recently done a first aid course. I think the guy that sells them insists on you doing his course before he will sell one to you.

I may be wrong about that though.

I don't think they are anything special. Its just a first aid kit in a box, make one up yourself just buy a pile of stuff off eBay.

The forestry commission would not recognise mine on a site, I had to borrow some stuff from other guys before they let me work.

Members of the public frequently wave to low flying helicopters and their needs and intentions need clarification which eats into rescue time.

Click the link for the internationally recognised symbols for communication between the ground and a rescue chopper

If only more people knew, there wouldn't be so many waving at the Seakings from the hilltops in the Lake District...

So what's a twin pack of EpiPens cost in the UK cousins?

Epinephrine has multiple ways of being administered of course, but when seconds are crucial, ease of simply jabbing with EpiPens costs 500 bucks more than it used to, to quickly administer a buck's worth of epinephrine.

I wonder if navy seals carry them in their purses?

Start

What percentage of the general population do you think have what it takes physically and mentally to climb in our industry safely?

More, or less, than say law enforcement, military special ops?

Ever see cops in uniform that you just know are horribly out of shape and vulnerable.

How many newly hired guys have you gone through before finding a keeper generally speaking, a dozen, more?

I think only about ten percent of the gen pop's fit enough physically, and less than five percent fit enough mentally and physically.

What say ye colleagues of treemen?
