I must have come across wrong there. My point was, cuts and knicks and the odd fracture happen all the time in any walk of life, most people can deal with them, I was suggesting that it wouldn't harm people in our industry to know how to deal with more serious problems, should they occur.

I agree Mark. Infact I went out and got a stretcher this morning, then I went to a funeral and it took four blokes to carry a coffin that probably weighed less than twelve stone. I'll see how I get on with the stretcher.

You can be certain most suburban hospital ER's are very familiar dealing with chainsaw cuts, some quite gruesome and life threatening.

 

I certainly hope I see no more!

 

Takes a certain something to deal with bloody carnage daily and be only marginally affected by it, that I ain't got. But I greatly admire and am thankful that such wonderful folks exist in goodly numbers amongst us.

Good on you. Not sure what your problem is to be honest. All I said about stretchers was that you could use a ladder if you were in a pickle.
