Making the news today....

When I was a kid I'd have believed the UK were the "good guys" in dealings with Russia. However after the UK messed up Iraq/ Afghanistan/ Libya (and nearly Syria) I no longer believe we are the moral guardians of the world....

Without the Russians the extremists would have taken over Syria... I think we should give Russia the benefit of the doubt....

The media do seem determined to have a showdown with Russia. It's been years now that the media have been telling us that it was Russian trolls that got Trump elected. I quite frankly think the media are talking nonsense.

It's interesting to see the different responses to these Russians getting poisoned and the response to Islamic terrorism. "Russians" attack other Russians in the UK and it's handbags at ten paces as we expect Russia to apologise and we put further trade sanctions on them. Islamic extremists kill a couple of hundred in Europe and the media come out with "not real Muslims", "mentally ill" and "let's all hold hands and sing songs".

The media have an agenda for sure

Trump's  only been president seventeen months.  Don't twist narratives.

Islam isn't a country you can apply sanctions to.

The Russians are obviously the bogeyman that they scare the general population with. However I don't really see what the Russians are doing that is so bad...

Are we we not deporting Russian diplomats at the moment? I just wish we could deport everyone that wishes us harm.... Or at the very least stop importing people that hate us and our way of life ?

Child refugee found guilty of the tube attack at Parsons Green... I sometimes feel I'm in some bizzare parallel universe where we are ruled by politicians that are morons...

The guy admitted he was trained by Islamic State and he was on a government deradicalistion programme. He hated Britain as his dad died in the Iraq invasion. Why are we letting people like that into the country?

This has got to be the worst bit of reporting of the day.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5509293/Sailor-nearly-sucked-100ft-wide-sinkhole-canal-Cheshire.html

Sinkhole!, nah it's a breach, Sailor, that's pushing it, Sailing boat?, it's a narrow boat, plucked to safety!, the occupants could have stepped on to the towpath.

I can't understand why it's known as The Daily Fail.

When has the truth stood in the way of a good story
