Unless it's changed MPs have a second home in London for when they have to attend Parliament. As it stands, we pay the mortgage on an interest only basis. Should they lose their seat the house is sold and the mortgage paid off. If the house has increased in value (being in London it will as there has not been negative equity unlike the rest of the country) well any money left over from the sale of the house goes into the former MPs pocket.

Perhaps the MPs should hand over their London homes to help the cause and instead stay in a travelodge

The Scum - at it again. Vile shitrag.

All journalists are just as Bad. I was one of the blokes that had to remove the holiday homes that were hanging over the cliff edge at Porthkerry a few years back. The pictures in the papers and on the telly were taken after we had got the worst ones away. Anyway the owners of the site asked for a press ban because if we got distracted then we could of ended up going over the cliff. So The BBC chartered a helicopter which came up at us from below the cliff edge. One second we nheard nothing then it suddenly appeared about 30 foot from us. Needless to say that never made the news as we all dropped out pants and gave them something worth filming
