Im not really sure of the answer to that. We're renewing them regardless so I guess it's a bit like getting new kit because as your current gear will need replacing at somepoint.

Personally I don't find the idea of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) something to aspire to, but I'm just a tree worker, not a political theorist.

Snap on that one matey. But if we had a nuclear war and where they drop the bomb it's radioactive for good knows how many hundreds of years, if ours have lost the odd year or two of contamination but will still make quite a mess then that's good enough for me

Who are the poorest people?

Who are the richest people?

People in this country, myself included, don't know what poor is. There's people in the world that scrape a living picking through and living on rubbish tips while we keep money in ashtrays.

The lefty lot think whatever they have is enough for anyone and anyone richer has too much. People of Africa might see their lifestyle as obscene, TV in every room, house made from bricks. A car. Etc. Would they be so keen to give half their income away? Or is that just reserved for people with more than them?

Why should anyone get to decide the next person has too much?

Poor people are unhealthy and unhappy, rich people are healthy and happy. Its nothing to do with wealth.

Which is easy to say when you've got a few Shillings.

We paid for/insurance Mrs Egg to have an operation a little while back.

If we hadn't got insurance we would still be waiting.

Yes VI it was put across badly  What I meant was people should worry more about their health and happiness than just money. Way to many guys out there driving themselves into an early grave just for the cash.
